Benefit Showcase

Welcome

Welcome

South County Health is pleased to provide you with a virtual summary of our benefit programs again in 2023. The programs offer excellent resources to ensure high-quality healthcare for you and your family and to help you maintain or improve your overall health and wellbeing.

We continue to offer affordable health coverage for services at SCH. With our staffs’ strong engagement in using SCH for care, we’ve managed to keep increases low and prevent increases to health insurance payroll contributions for those making less than $50K annually for 12 years, while maintaining our comprehensive benefits for our health plan. There will be no increase to contributions for dental and vision coverage in 2023.

Our virtual site highlights just some of the 2023 benefits available to you, so please review your applicable benefit guide below for a comprehensive summary of all benefit offerings, including eligibility and premium rate information.

Open Enrollment

Each year, you have the opportunity to make changes to your benefits elections for the upcoming plan year. Those elections will remain in effect until the end of the following plan year. At SCH, we conduct open enrollment during the month of November, with those elections being effective for the following calendar year (January 1st to December 31st).

All staff will continue to enroll in or waive benefits using the computer-based Employee Self-Service (ESS) platform. As was done last year, staff will be able to access ESS from an outside computer via most web browsers. Click “Enroll Today” to enroll in your 2023 benefits. Staff who are not changing their benefits coverage should log into ESS and confirm elections or waive benefits. Any required documentation, such as tax forms for spouses covered under the plan or birth certificates for new dependents can be scanned and emailed or dropped off in the HR office.

Remember to Enroll by November 30, 2022!
