The Mills community is a diverse group of individuals and families with different needs for medical care. That is why Mills offers four medical plans on the Anthem BlueCross BlueShield network with varying deductibles, co-insurance, and out-of-pocket maximums.
Our plans include:
HDHP Base Plan, Non-BJC (St. Louis associates only)
HDHP Base Plan
HDHP Enhanced Plan
PPO Plan

New for 2021! Deciding which medical plan and voluntary benefits to enroll in can be confusing. So, we've provided all Mills associates with tools to help guide you in the decision-making process.
PLANselect will help you select the best medical plan option for you and your family. Based on your responses to a few simple questions, this tool will recommend the health plan that will most likely result in your lowest overall cost.
BENEFITchoice is a benefits-assessment tool that helps you prioritize and evaluate non-medical plans, voluntary, and supplemental benefits. Simply answer the questions and the assessment tool will provide you with personalized benefits recommendations along with links to product information and videos.
Please note that these tools are only here to help you make the best decision for you and your family. They will not enroll you in the plans. To enroll in your benefits, log in to Paylocity and click on Manage My Benefits on your Self-Service page.
LiveHealth Online
Have a health question? Under the weather? Available to all associates enrolled in a Mills medical plan, Anthem's LiveHealth Online provides medical, psychological, and psychiatric services through the convenience of your mobile device or computer.
With LiveHealth Online, you don’t have to schedule an appointment, drive to the doctor’s office, and then wait for your appointment. In fact, you don’t even have to leave your home or office. Doctors can answer questions, make a diagnosis, and prescribe medications.

Maintaining good oral hygiene is paramount to your overall health and wellness. That is why Mills has partnered with Delta Dental, one of the nation's largest carriers, to provide our full-time associates with affordable dental coverage.

Getting an eye exam is not just about finding out if you need glasses. It’s about your health! An eye exam can detect eye-health problems like glaucoma or cataracts. SPENDING ACCOUNTS
Flexible Spending Account Overview
A Flexible Spending Account (FSA) allows you to budget and save for qualified medical expenses incurred over the course of your plan year. Dollars invested in an FSA are tax free, and the entire election amount is available on the first day of the plan year. However, any money not used by the end of the plan year if forfeited.

Health Savings Account Overview
A Health Savings Account (HSA) lets you make the most of your earnings by setting aside tax-free dollars for medical, dental, and vision expenses. HSAs are individually owned and provide a tax advantage.
Eligibility
You must be enrolled in a High-Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) to get an HSA, which can be used to pay for out-of-pocket expenses until you've met your deductible, at which point, your health plan kicks in.

Supplemental insurance from Allstate Benefits can help provide a financial safety net, with cash benefits that help fill gaps left by major medical coverage associated with an accident, hospital stay, or critical illness. These benefits are designed to help cover out-of-pocket expenses to help relieve financial burden.

Mills Properties offers short-term disability and long-term disability insurance through Mutual of Omaha. These options will pay a percentage of your salary if you are unable to work due to a disability. Disability is defined as an injury or illness, or a significant change in your mental or functional abilities that prevent you from performing at least one of the material duties of your regular job.

Life insurance is about providing some financial protection for your loved ones in the event of your death. These funds can help pay monthly living expenses, provide an emergency fund, pay off debts, or help provide for someone's education. Mills supports its associates and their families by providing term life insurance for all full-time associates through Mutual of Omaha (at no cost to the associate). Associates who work a minimum of 30 hours per week are eligible for coverage equal to his/her annual salary (up to $100,000).
Associates may also purchase additional coverage for his/herself, a spouse, and children under the age of 26.

RETIREMENT
Mills Properties recognizes how important it is to invest in your future, which is why we provide an employer match on our 401(k) plan. Mills will match up to 25% on the first 6% of salary deferrals. We offer a traditional 401(k) option and a Roth after-tax option.
Please note that newly eligible associates will be automatically enrolled at 2%. If you do not want to contribute, create an account and enter 0% for the contribution amount.
