New-hire benefits become effective on the first day of the month following date of hire. As a new hire, you have 30 days from your date of hire to complete and submit your elections in Workday.
Please take the time to review each section of this Benefit website and discuss with your family members before making your benefit elections.
When you're ready to make your benefit elections, go to your Inbox in Workday and click on your Benefits New Hire event. You may also enroll through the Workday Mobile App.
Remember, you'll be asked to add beneficiary information, as well as
dependent information (if you're adding a spouse and/or child(ren) to your benefit plans), so be sure to have legal names, dates of birth and social security numbers accessible.
When adding dependents, you will be required to upload supporting dependent verification documents. If you're adding a spouse, a copy of your marriage certificate will be needed. If you're adding a dependent child(ren), a copy of their birth certificate will be needed. Documents should be uploaded in Workday, on the final page of your new hire enrollment, in the Attachment section. The Blue Cross and Blue Shield medical plans (Blue PPO and Green HDHP) use the BCBSTX network. This does not mean that coverage is only available in Texas. The BCBSTX network is very extensive and new providers are added regularly. You can check to see if your provider is in the BCBSTX network by following the instructions found in the below links.
The CIGNA (HMO) plan is only available to our team members located in California. These team members have the option to choose between the BCBS plans or the CIGNA plan. To see if your provider is in network for BCBS or for CIGNA, follow the instructions in the below links.
When deciding on which plan is best for you and your family, consider the network, premiums, and out-of-pocket costs for each plan.
Tobacco surcharge: Team Members who use tobacco will pay $46.15 biweekly more for medical coverage than those who do not. Tobacco users have the option to complete the Tobacco Cessation Program and have the surcharge refunded; see the Well-being section of this site for more details on the program.
Spousal surcharge: Team Members with spouses who have access to coverage through another employer will pay $122 biweekly more if they choose to participate in one of Reece's medical plans.
Telemedicine, through MDLive, is available to our Team Members that are enrolled in one of our medical plans.
MDLive provides 24/7 access to board-certified doctors through online video, telephone or secure email. You and your family can be treated for general health issues, as well as behavioral health issues, at any time! Plus MDLive can assist with prescription refills.
If you're enrolled in a BCBS (Blue or Green plan), there is no cost to use MDLive. If you're enrolled in the CIGNA HMO plan, you have a $30 copay.
Brushing your teeth and flossing are great, but don’t forget to visit the dentist too!
Reece USA offers affordable plan options for routine care and beyond. Dental coverage is available through MetLife and Cigna (CA residents only).
Don’t wear glasses? Even you shouldn’t skip an annual eye exam! Reece USA provides you and your family access to quality vision care with a comprehensive vision benefit through MetLife Vision (with VSP Plus Network).
Dental and Vision cards are not provided. You can access temporary cards by logging into the provider websites below.
