Welcome to our virtual benefits site. We created this resource center to provide you with some new hire information as well as to help you understand the extensive benefits that we offer. You can scroll through each of the tabs and find important and resourceful information for you any time during the year.

Under the New Hire tab, you will find a recording with an overview of our benefit plan offerings along with important new hire-related information. Under the Cigna, Lincoln, More Benefits, and Financial Wellness tabs, you will have access to our benefit plans information as well as some educational videos that can help with your decision process.

As a new hire, you will be provided with a package from your HR team that will include some very important documents. Please complete these and bring the documents back with you on your reporting day to work: 

• Job Offer Letter – Please review and sign the offer letter
• New Hire Documents – Please review and sign your new hire paperwork
• Form I-9 (Employment Eligibility Verification) – Please complete the USCIS Form I-9 and provide supportive documents as specified on the Lists of Acceptable Documents to verify your employment eligibility in the United States.
• Payroll and Direct Deposit – Please provide a copy of the Social Security card for payroll processing and also a copy of a voided check from your designated U.S. bank for direct deposits set up on payroll.

NEW HIRE INFORMATION

Once you have provided all the required new hire paperwork back to your HR team, your profile will be set up on the ADP system. You can follow the instructions under the ADP Workforce Now Registration button to complete the process in creating your account. You will be asked for a registration code which can be found inside the instruction. Other important information such as your PTO, holiday schedule, leave Information, 2021 payroll schedule and time-off request process are also included here.

As a new hire, you have 30 days from your hire date to sign up for benefits and your benefits are effective on the 1st day of the month following your date of hire. Information on our plan offerings can be found in other tabs within this benefit site.

Because most of our benefits are offered on a pre-tax basis, the government only allows you to change your benefits during open enrollment. The exception to this rule occurs when you have a qualifying event such as marriage, divorce or the birth/adoption of a child, etc. Our next open enrollment period will be in July or August, so review all the materials carefully to make the right decision for your situation.

CIGNA MEDICAL, DENTAL, VISION

HDHP with HSA

In this section, you can learn more about the coverage options available for medical, dental, and vision coverage. Learn more about how a Health Savings Account works. Explore tips for making the most of your benefit dollars.

Our Medical, Dental, and Vision plans are offered on an unbundled setup. This means that you can choose to cover just yourself on a medical plan while you elect to cover your dependents for Dental and Vision benefits or vice versa. Also, you will be asked to make a decision on either to have elective abortion benefit as a feature in your medical plan (as required by Texas state legislation).

On this tab, you will find your CIGNA enrollment form and the Elective Abortion election form that you will need to complete and return to your HR team. Your premium cost share information, as well as HSA plan-related information, are included for your reference.

Once your enrollment information has been set up by CIGNA, you can follow the instruction inside the CIGNA New Hire Registration button, to set up your CIGNA online access. By doing so, you can retrieve a temp ID card, review your elected benefit and claims information.

LINCOLN PLANS

Term Life Insurance

Our benefits extend well beyond medical, dental, and vision. In this section, learn more about our company provided benefits such as company-paid Life and AD&D insurance, and the Short-Term Disability plan.  

You also have an option to purchase voluntary Life,  AD&D, and Long-Term Disability plans. You can choose to purchase voluntary Life or AD&D, or both. These plans are offered as age-rated products that have limits on the coverage amount and are employee paid. As a new hire, certain coverage will be offered as guaranteed coverage so please review your options and plan summaries. If you elect an amount over the guarantee or decide to purchase this down the road (outside of your new hire 30-day period), you are subject to approval and an Evidence of Insurability form will be required.

MORE BENEFITS

HSA vs FSA

There are a few more benefits that we would like to introduce you to: Aflac and Wageworks (Health Equity) Flexible Spending Account.

Our Flexible Spending Account is administered through Wageworks. You have the option to make a pre-tax contribution to the Health Care or Dependent Care plans. More information can be found on the Wageworks portal. Please be reminded that the FSA plan contribution is subject to the use-it-or-lose-it rule so please review plan provisions carefully before making your election.

Aflac offers supplemental plans that will pay cash directly to you. Options include Accident Policy, Hospital Policy, Cancer Care, and a few others. If you elect our HSA medical plan through Cigna, there are also compatible plans with Aflac that you can purchase. All Aflac plans are employee paid.

FINANCIAL WELLNESS

Building Your Credit Score

On this tab, you will find information on your ADP 401k Plan. Unlike our Cigna and Lincoln Financial plans, where your coverage will be effective first of the month after your date of hire, the 401k plan has a three-month waiting period.   Your eligibility will be effective on the first of the month after the three-month waiting period. As an example, if you are hired on January 1st, your 401k will be effective as of April 1st. However, if you are hired after the first of the month, e.g., January 2nd, then your 401k will be effective as of May 1st.
