Varex pays 100% for your Basic Life and AD&D, Short Term Disability, and Long Term Disability coverage.
Health and income-protection benefits: All active, regular full-time employees working more than 20 hours a week are eligible to participate in Varex Imaging’s benefits program. You may also cover your eligible dependents.
Varex Imaging 401(k) plan: You are immediately eligible to enroll in the Varex Imaging 401(k) plan on your date of hire. If you don’t take any enrollment action—either enrolling or opting out—within 30 days of becoming eligible, you will be automatically enrolled at 6% of your eligible before-tax pay. You may change your contribution rate and investment elections at any time.
You can conveniently enroll in benefits online. If you don't enroll within 31 days of your date of hire, you cannot make benefit elections until our Open Enrollment period, unless you experience a qualifying life event, such as a birth or marriage. If you take no action you will be automatically enrolled in the plans and programs that are fully paid by Varex Imaging with employee-only coverage.

Our benefits program includes medical plan options with a range of coverage levels and costs, so you can choose the one that’s best for you.
We offer two types of medical plans. For each of the medical plan options, you can choose coverage through Regence BlueCross BlueShield or SelectHealth.
Regence uses the ValueCare Network, and SelectHealth uses the Value and Med Networks. You can enroll as a new hire, during Open Enrollment, or if you have a qualifying life event. To see your paycheck deductions and enroll, log in here.

Both Regence and SelectHealth prescription drug plans are administered through Prime Therapuetics.
Regence members will receive one ID card for both medical and prescription drug benefits. If you enroll in the SelectHealth plan you will receive two ID cards, one from SelectHealth for Medical and one from Regence for prescription drug benefits only.
Tria Health is a free and confidential benefit available through your health plan. If you have a chronic condition or take multiple medications, Tria Health’s pharmacists are ready to support you in managing your health. Not only will Tria Health’s pharmacists make sure your medications are working as intended and that you’re on the right medications, but they can support you by creating a care plan that is specific to your needs and share it with your doctor. Varex Imaging offers coverage through Delta Dental to help maintain your smile through regular preventive care and treatment for any dental problems that may arise.
Your dental plan includes free in-network preventive and diagnostic care, affordable coverage, and a wide network of providers. You may choose to see any dentist you would like, but generally you will pay less when you stay in network.
Vision benefits are administered by VSP and include coverage for eye exams and eyeglass or contact lenses.
The Transparency in Coverage Final Rules require certain group health plans to disclose on a public website information regarding in-network provider rates and historical out-of-network allowed amounts and billed charges for covered items and services in two separate machine-readable files (MRFs). Varex Imaging Corporation supports employee financial wellbeing by offering the following benefits:
Varex Imaging provides basic life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance for employees at no cost. The benefit is one times your base annual salary (up to $750,000). You have the opportunity to purchase additional coverage for you and your dependents.
If you want additional life and AD&D coverage, you can choose to elect up to 8 times your salary up to $2,000,000. You can also choose to elect coverage for your spouse and children, not to exceed your own coverage.

Disability insurance replaces a portion of your income to help you continue paying your bills and meeting your financial obligations if you are unable to work due to an injury or illness. There is no need to enroll in these benefits, you are automatically enrolled when you become eligible.

Even with comprehensive coverage from your primary medical plan, you will still have some out-of-pocket expenses if you get critically ill, are seriously injured, or need to be hospitalized. Voluntary benefits offer additional protection and pay a cash benefit to help you cover costs that arise in these situations.

Welcome to Your Varex Imaging 401k
Eligibility: 18 years of age with immediate entry
Match: 100% match up to 4% of your pay!
Vesting: Immediately vested
Auto Enrollment: All eligible employees will be automatically enrolled at a 6% savings rate, annual increase of 1% per year until 10%.
Roth/pre-tax: You can choose to pay the tax on the income you save now or in the future.
Investments: Create your own or take the easy route with a Target Date Fund.
If you enroll in the High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP), then you are eligile to open a health savings account through HealthEquity. An HSA allows you to put money away before taxes are deducted. You can then use this money for eligible health expenses, or invest it and let it grow so you have a nest egg for future medical needs.

Varex Imaging offers you three FSA options. A Healthcare FSA, Limited Purpose FSA and a Dependent Care FSA. You can contribute to these accounts with pretax dollars and use them to pay for eligible health and childcare expenses.

Give yourself, your spouse, and your dependents access to a nationwide network of 18,000 attorneys. Legal advice is just a phone call away, and representatives will help you find an attorney in your area. There are no copays, claim forms, or deductibles for covered services.
Services from Identity Theft Protection monitor your identity, detect fraud, and restore your identity in the event of theft.

Varex Imaging offers pet insurance through Nationwide. Nationwide offers two plans for you to choose from: My Pet Protection® and My Pet Protection® with Wellness500. My Pet Protection is a medical plan that offers an annual benefit of $7,500 for eligible veterinary bills related to accidents, injuries and illnesses, including emergency clinics and specialists. My Pet Protection with Wellness500 offers the same protection as our medical plan, but includes coverage for preventive care. With this plan, up to $500 of the annual $7,500 benefit can be used for wellness, including checkups, flea and heartworm preventives, vaccinations, spay and neuter and more.
Both plans are guaranteed issuance, have a $250 annual deductible and include medical coverage with the choice of 50% or 70% reimbursement levels.
Once you work for 90 days, you are eligible for Varex Imaging's tuition reimbursement program. Varex will reimburse you for educational expenses up to $7,500 per year. If you voluntarily leave employment within one year of receiving the reimbursement, you will be expected to pay the amount you received back to Varex.

The enrollment period for the Varex Imaging employee stock purchase program happens two times per year. You can enroll during the enrollment periods through Workday and elect contribution amounts of 1-10% of your eligible pay to be reserved for stock purchase during the following offering period. At the close of the offering period you will receive a 15% discount off the lowest stock price at the beginning or the end of the offering period.
