Earth Day Is April 22

Show Your Love for Mother Earth!

Let's get together to protect our planet and make a difference! From planting trees to reducing waste, there are countless ways to participate in Earth Day activities. How will you contribute?

On April 22, 1970, millions of people across the country participated in rallies, demonstrations and clean-up efforts, marking the first Earth Day. Since then, Earth Day has become a global phenomenon, with more than 190 countries now participating in activities ranging from planting trees to climate-action initiatives every year on April 22nd.

Here are some ideas on how you can show your love for our planet:

  • Plant a tree in your backyard or community green space to contribute to local biodiversity and combat climate change.
  • Reduce your carbon footprint by walking, biking or carpooling instead of driving alone. Every small change makes a big difference.
  • Join a beach or park clean-up event in your area to help keep our natural spaces bright and pristine for future generations.
  • Swap single-use plastics for reusable alternatives to minimize waste and protect marine life. Every plastic bottle saved is a win for the ocean.
  • Educate yourself and your family about environmental issues by watching documentaries, reading books or attending virtual workshops.
