Baptist Health offers Life, AD&D and Disability Insurance. Basic Life and AD&D Insurance is an employer-paid benefit for full-time employees. Supplemental Term Life and AD&D insurance is also offered for employees, spouses and dependent children. Voluntary Short-Term Disability is an employee-paid benefit for full-time employees. Long-Term Disability is employer paid for full-time employees and employees may choose to buy up as well.

If your spouse has group medical coverage available from their employer, the MERP could be a good option for you! Under the MERP, you would elect to cover you and your family under your spouse’s plan and the MERP would reimburse you for eligible medical care expenses and premium differences incurred under your employed spouse’s group medical plan.
