Life AD&D and Disability
Baptist Health offers Life, AD&D and Disability Insurance. Basic Life and AD&D Insurance is an employer-paid benefit for full-time employees. Supplemental Term Life and AD&D insurance is also offered for employees, spouses and dependent children. Voluntary Short-Term Disability is an employee-paid benefit for full-time employees. Long-Term Disability is employer paid for full-time employees and employees may choose to buy up as well.

Dental Benefits
Delta Dental of Kentucky is the largest and oldest dental benefits administrator in Kentucky. As a not-for-profit organization, our core purpose is advancing oral healthcare for the Commonwealth through our dental benefit programs and philanthropic efforts.
Baptist Health employees are eligible for three cleanings and you may be eligible for more if you have certain medical conditions. Please contact Delta Dental for more information.

MERP Benefits
Employees that are eligible for the medical plans offered by Baptist Health may consider MERP.
If your spouse has group medical coverage available from their employer, the MERP could be a good option for you! Under the MERP, you would elect to cover you and your family under your spouse’s plan and the MERP would reimburse you for eligible medical care expenses and premium differences incurred under your employed spouse’s group medical plan.

Your At-Home Medical Exam
TytoCare is a hand-held, medical device kit that allows for routine medical exams from providers at any time. TytoCare device can be used for urgent care video visits through MyChart with a Baptist Health provider, giving you access to quality medical care from home.
Virtual Care on Your Own Time
Baptist Health partnered with BrightMD to bring patients, including their own employees, convenient care from home. Employees and dependents enrolled in a Baptist Health PPO plan can utilize eVisits free of charge.
