Remember each year during Open Enrollment you decide and make an election for what your annual FSA contribution will be. The 2024 limit for FSA contributions is $3,050.

Vulcan gives you the opportunity to purchase Supplemental Life Insurance for yourself, your spouse, and dependent children. You may elect to enroll in this coverage in the amount of $25,000, $35,000, or $45,000 for yourself. This benefit would pay in addition to the Basic Life Insurance provided by Vulcan.
All Supplemental Life Insurance plans include ADD&D coverage. This means that in the event of accidental death, the ADD&D amount would equal the amount of elected coverage.

EAP services are available to all employees and their household members at no additional cost. Counseling sessions are available in the face-to-face setting and as Virtual Visits. WorkLife Services: When you contact OPTUM for WorkLife Services, a WorkLife advisor will conduct a search based on your needs using an extensive database. Adult and eldercare support, child care support, financial and legal issues, and pet services are a few topics WorkLife can assist with. You will get a list of options detailing the services offered, cost, professional credentials, and contact information. There is no charge for referrals and all records are confidential.
Vulcan employees now have the ability to receive online messaging therapy at no cost through the EAP. TalkSpace is an online therapy service that connects users to dedicated, licensed, network EAP providers. Users can send their therapist in-app messaging, voice, or video messages—anytime, anywhere—and it's always confidential and secure.
Livongo is available through the Blue Cross Blue Shield medical benefit and offers no-cost tools, services, and support to manage diabetes. You will get Livongo's advanced glucose meter, all the strips and lancets you need, and personalized coaching.
Real Appeal is a weight-loss program that gives you access to one-on-one coaching as well as great online tools, such as an exclusive website, program guide, food journal, and more. You can speak with a registered dietitian to learn how small changes in your daily food choices and eating habits can make a big difference. This program is available at no cost to Vulcan benefit-eligible employees, spouses, and adult dependents.
