MERP Benefits
Employees that are eligible for the medical plans offered by Baptist Health may consider MERP.
If your spouse has group medical coverage available from their employer, MERP could be a good option for you! Under MERP, you would elect to cover you and your family under your spouse’s plan and MERP would reimburse you for eligible medical care expenses and premium differences incurred under your spouse’s medical plan.

Dental Benefits
Delta Dental of Kentucky is the largest and oldest dental benefits administrator in Kentucky. As a not-for-profit organization, our core purpose is advancing oral healthcare for the Commonwealth through our dental benefit programs and philanthropic efforts.
Baptist Health Deaconess employees are eligible for three cleanings and you may be eligible for more if you have certain medical conditions. Please contact Delta Dental for more information.

Life, AD&D and Disability
Baptist Health Deaconess offers Life, AD&D and Disability Insurance. Basic Life and AD&D Insurance are employer-paid benefits for full-time employees. Supplemental Term Life and AD&D insurance is also offered for employees, spouses and dependent children. Voluntary Short-Term Disability is an employee-paid benefit for full-time employees. Long-Term Disability is employer paid for full-time employees and employees may choose to buy up as well.
