Professional Wellness Month was created to highlight the importance of well-being in the workplace. Taking time each day to focus on yourself and your health should be a priority. And companies that offer wellness programs can help employees live healthier lives, be more productive at work and enjoy better mental health. 

Wellness Tips for Individuals

 

  1. Think positively - Can you change your life by simply thinking positively? For some, optimism is natural and comes easily. For others, it's an uphill battle, but studies show positive thoughts can actually have a beneficial effect on your health, your work and your relationships.

  2. Drink more water

  3. Take breaks/lunch outside

  4. Switch to healthy snacks

  5. Stretch and practice deep breathing

  1. Recognize excellence - Recognition and appreciation are extremely important. Research shows employees are motivated to work harder and stay with their employers longer when they receive regognition. Great advice during the Great Resignation.
