When you enroll in a Blue Shield medical plan, you will automatically be enrolled in the CVS Caremark Prescription Drug Program, which offers a national network of pharmacies (including, but not limited to CVS pharmacies) near you. Filling your prescriptions at a pharmacy in the network will ensure you do not overpay for medications, and you can decide the most convenient way to fill your prescriptions – with options like contactless delivery to your door or pickup at a pharmacy in our network. The choice is yours!
For additional savings, sign up for mail-order delivery for those medications you take regularly and get a 90-day supply. There is no delivery fee, and you can save money!
Remember to use your Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) debit card to pay for prescription drugs with pre-tax dollars at the pharmacy or through the mail-order program.

A Health Savings Account (HSA) is a savings account that belongs to you and paired with the Blue Shield QHDHP $3,000/$5,000 plan. It allows you to make tax-advantaged contributions to a savings account to pay for current and future medical expenses for you and your dependents. Contributions to the HSA are tax free for you whether they come from you or CMG.
HSA plans typically cost less per pay period than other medical plans so the money you save on premiums can be put into your HSA. Unused money in your HSA will roll over, earn interest, and grow tax free over time. Monies remaining in an HSA account are yours even if you leave your job, change plans, or retire.

CMG Financial offers Kaiser HMO Medical Plans in California, Colorado, Hawaii, Oregon, Washington, and the Mid-Atlantic States. Kaiser Medical Plans are a one-stop shop offering medical care, preventive health services, prescription, and pharmacy benefits (typically all located on the same premises). All services must be obtained at Kaiser facilities and/or at Kaiser Hospitals. Our Kaiser Plans offer comprehensive benefits and convenience to members.

Hawaii Medical Service Association (HMSA) is a non-profit health insurer in the state of Hawaii. HMSA was founded in 1938, is an independent licensee of the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association, and is the largest insurer in the state of Hawaii serving more than 700,000 people.
CMG offers a PPO (Preferred Provider Organization) Medical Plan through HMSA. This plan provides quality care from your choice of doctors and specialists and care at Hawaii’s top hospitals. It is freedom of choice and peace of mind for when you need it most.
Please note that the HMSA Plan is only available to residents of Hawaii.

Life Insurance is an important part of your financial wellbeing, especially if others depend on you for support. CMG provides employees with basic life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance coverage at no cost to employees. The policy benefit amount is $50,000 and coverage is automatic; but employees must designate a beneficiary. Did you experience a life event this year (marriage, divorce, birth)? If so, please review and/or update your beneficiary information accordingly.
Employees may choose to purchase supplemental coverage during open enrollment at affordable group rates. Rates are based on the employee’s age and the coverage amount elected.

Should you experience a non-work-related illness or injury that prevents you from working, disability coverage acts as income replacement to protect important assets and help you continue with some level of earnings. Benefits eligibility may be based on disability for your occupation or any occupation.
While some states offer state disability programs/benefits, there are many states that do not offer disability benefits. If you live in a state with a state disability program, Prudential will reduce (offset) your total payment amount from them by any amount you are eligible for through your state program.
Colonial Life provides employees with supplemental insurance options to complement their CMG benefits. Employees can elect any of the supplemental coverage options and the premium costs can be made through payroll deductions. Enrollment is voluntary and can be canceled at any time.
Insurance Options include Accident Insurance, Cancer Insurance, Hospital Confinement Indemnity Insurance, Critical Illness Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Term Life, or Whole Life Insurance options.

Vision examinations are something we tend to put off after medical appointments and dental care; but, given the amount of time we stare at our phones, computer monitors and laptops, the more we need to prioritize our vision health. The GoNavia Commuter Program is designed for employees that use public transportation (subway, train, bus, ferry, etc.) to commute to and from work. It also benefits employees that pay to park near or at their work location.
The GoNavia Commuter Benefit program allows employees to pay for work-related parking and transit expenses using pre-tax dollars. This is a month-to-month benefit that allows you to make changes or opt in and out of the benefit at any time based on your transit or parking needs for the upcoming months.
How does it work? Participants register directly on the GoNavia website and place orders for monthly transit and parking needs. The order amount will be deducted from your paycheck pretax and loaded onto a Navia benefits card. You can then use the Navia benefits card, in place of a personal debit or credit card, to purchase services at any transit or parking facility that accepts Mastercard.

My Pet Protection pet insurance from Nationwide is a reimbursement indemnity plan for dogs and cats. This means Nationwide reimburses members a portion of eligible veterinary expenses related to accidents, injuries and illnesses. We also insure coverage for birds and exotic pets like reptiles and small mammals. Avian and exotic pet plans are available only by phone.
Rates are determined by the type of pet as well as the coverage chosen. Monthly premiums can be taken via payroll deduction for easy payment.
