Medical

Blue Shield Medical Plan
The Grow West team is a diverse group of individuals and families with different needs for medical care. That's why Grow West offers two medical plans within the Blue Shield network with varying deductibles, co-insurance, and out-of-pocket maximums.
Blue Shield plans include:
- PPO Plan
- High-Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) with an HSA

Kaiser Permanente Medical Plan
At Grow West, we know that some employees like the ease and convenience of having providers and services under one roof. Kaiser Permanente is a great option for employees and their families for access and affordability when it comes to quality healthcare.

Dental and Vision
Dental Insurance
Maintaining good oral hygiene is paramount to your overall health and wellness. That's why Grow West has partnered with Delta Dental, one of the nation's largest carriers, to provide our employees and their families with excellent dental coverage.
Vision Insurance
Getting an eye exam is not just about finding out if you need glasses. It’s about your health! An eye exam can detect eye-health problems like glaucoma or cataracts. However, it can also help identify early signs of diseases that impact your whole body such as high blood pressure, diabetes and high cholesterol. That's why Grow West offers all full-time employees and their families vision insurance through MES.

Spending Accounts

Flexible Spending Account Overview
A Flexible Spending Account (FSA) allows you to budget and save for qualified medical expenses incurred over the course of your plan year. Dollars invested in an FSA are tax free, and the entire election amount is available on the first day of the plan year. However, any money not used by the end of the plan year if forfeited.
Types of FSAs
- Medical FSA - An FSA covers eligible medical, dental, and vision expenses that are incurred throughout the calendar year.
- Limited FSA - If you have an HDHP Plan, you're eligible to enroll in a Limited FSA alongside your HSA for dental and vision expenses.
- Dependent Care FSA - Allows you to put money aside for dependent care for children up to age 13, a disabled dependent, or a disabled spouse.
IRS Limits for 2022
Medical & Limited FSA - $2,750
Dependent Care FSA - $5,000
Health Savings Account Overview
A Health Savings Account (HSA) lets you make the most of your earnings by setting aside tax-free dollars for medical, dental, and vision expenses. HSAs are individually owned and provide a tax advantage.
Eligibility
You must be enrolled in a High-Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) to get an HSA, which can be used to pay for out-of-pocket expenses until you've met your deductible, at which point, your health plan kicks in.

401(k)
Grow West recognizes how important it is to invest in your future, which is why we provide an employer match on our 401(k) plan. Grow West will match up to 100% on the first 3% of salary deferrals and 50% of the next 2% of salary deferrals. We offer a traditional 401(k) option and a Roth after-tax option.
Please note that newly hired employees will be automatically enrolled at 5%. If you do not want to contribute, create an account and enter 0% for the contribution amount.

Supplemental insurance from Aflac and Allstate Benefits can help provide a financial safety net with cash benefits that help fill gaps left by major medical coverage associated with an accident, hospital stay, or critical illness. These benefits are designed to help cover out-of-pocket expenses to help relieve financial burden.
