Ferrara is committed to providing our employees with a comprehensive and affordable benefits package. We are happy to share that employee Medical Plan rates will not be increasing for a third year in a row. As we continually evolve our benefits, we are increasing the 401(k) match from a maximum of 3.5% to a maximum of 4.5%, increasing parental leave from 6 to 10 weeks, simplifying to one Dental plan, enhancing the benefit amounts for Basic Life, AD&D and LTD, and moving to co-pays instead of coinsurance for prescriptions.
The enrollment process for this year will be passive, which means that if you do not actively enroll, most of your 2024 benefit elections will continue into 2025. However, please note that this does not include tax advantaged plans (HSA, FSA, DCFSA), which must be elected annually. To receive the Ferrara matching contributions to the HSA (HDHP1 Plan members only), you must actively select the HSA for 2025 and make a minimum annual contribution of $250.
