Important Information Release Regarding VCS Group Medical Benefits

Thank you for completing your enrollment with Curative!

My name is Kimberly, and I serve as the Curative Benefits Liaison for Volusia County Schools. As a fellow VCS employee, I understand that transitioning to a new insurance provider can feel overwhelming. Please know that I’m here to support you every step of the way—helping you navigate your Curative benefits with clarity, confidence, and care throughout this transition and beyond.

What Happens Next:

  • Plan Activation: Your Curative coverage begins on October 1, 2025.
    • This is where you can schedule your baseline visit, to be completed within 120 days of your plan's effective date.
    • This is also where you will obtain the Curative Pass for all care/services under the EPO Value plan.
  • ID Cards: Watch for your Curative Member ID cards arriving by mail.
  • Baseline Visit: Schedule your required Baseline Visit to maintain access to $0 out-of-pocket benefits once your plan is active.
  • Provider & Medication Search: Begin identifying your preferred providers and covered medications.
    • If your current providers are in-network with Curative, you will retain these doctors under your new plan.
      • You will still need an active Curative Pass to receive care – this can be obtained through the Member Portal and/or your care navigator once your plan becomes active.

Your Care Navigator can help you find providers and navigate your benefits to help you reach your health goals. You do not need to wait until the Baseline Onboarding to connect with your Care Navigator.
