The intent of this policy is to both place trust and provide colleagues with the freedom and flexibility to balance the responsibilities of both their work and home lives, thereby maximizing their value to their family and to TrueNorth.

Any RTO totaling fewer than four (4) hours may be made up within the same week with prior approval and mutual understanding of your leader and arrangements agreed upon in advance of your absence.
No single absence will be paid for more than ten (10) consecutive business days without approval from your divisional VP of Operations or for members of Servco, the CIO/CFO, provided, however that eligible employees may utilize ten (10) days of Medical RTO when on FMLA Leave or Parental Leave.
Should you need time off in excess of ten (10) consecutive business days, please discuss your request with your leader to ensure proper procedures are followed and documentation completed.
If an eligible employee is unable to meet the expectations outlined above, TrueNorth reserves the right to temporarily revoke RTO. Further, if gross abuse of this benefit is observed, or absences occur without the appropriate advanced approval, disciplinary action may be taken, up to and including termination of employment. |
|
Eligibility
|
All full-time and part-time employees are eligible after one (1) month of service. Donation Match Program
For full plan details, please review the plan documents.
Plan Overview
At TrueNorth, we believe it is consistent with our corporate mission to strenthen our bond with the community and position TrueNorth as a good corporate citizen who is "in tune" with the needs of the communities we serve. TrueNorth also encourages its employees through our Match Program to participate in giving back to supporting community needs.
Our Charitable Donation and Sponsorship program ensures that all TrueNorth donations and sponsorships are coordinated an aligned with business goals. Our contributions to community non-profit organizations should also maximize our opportunity for positive corporate visibility, foster long-term relationships and fall within our budget and resource limitation. This program will encompass on-profie directed donations, sponsorships, and community service projects that the firm supports. This does not extend to association relationships we have for business purposes.
TrueNorth will match approved staff donations to charitable causes on a 1:1 ratio up to $300 per employee per year. For example, if an employee donates $100 to an educational institution, TNC will also donate $100 to that institution. Each employee is limited to 3 requests per year. There is a maximum corporate pool of $5,000 available for matching donations. Employees wishing to make a donation will complete a Donation Request Form, which will be reviewed by the Director of Community Impact for approval.
Employees may also request sponsorship of Company teams. Company items will be considered if all TrueNorth employees are invited to join. If teams are limited in the number of participants, TrueNorth employees have first right to a position on the team. Sponsorship will be limited to entry fees and/or clothing apparel.
Gifts must be personal donations not pledges. The match will be paid at the time that the employee submits a receipt for their donation along with the donation request form, or submits a check with the donation request form.
