Welcome Aldine ISD Employees! 2026 Open Enrollment is here!

Open Enrollment is November 1-15, 2025. During this time you can ensure you and your family have the coverage you need for the next Plan Year. All benefits-eligible employees are required to complete the enrollment process by November 15, 2025, 11:59 PM. For 2026, we have many vendor changes. If you do not take any action during Open Enrollment, your 2026 benefits will default to the plans most similar to what you are enrolled in for 2025. The exceptions are FSA and HSA contributions, which you will need to actively re-elect for 2026.

This video provides a high-level overview of your benefits offering for next year. Click the 2026 Benefits link for complete details and the Enroll now button to enroll today.

Retirement Plan Options

In many cases, TRS alone will not be enough to cover your expenses in retirement. As part of your preparation, contact TRS (800.223.8778 or TRS.gov) to receive an estimate of your monthly benefit once you retire. With this information, you will be better able to determine if that amount will cover your expenses or help you define the amount you may need to bridge any gap you may have. To assist with bridging that gap, Aldine ISD provides the opportunity to participate in one or both of the district’s voluntary retirement plan offerings.

The district offers both a 403(b) Tax-Sheltered Annuity Plan and a 457(b) Deferred Compensation Plan. These plans allow you to participate on a tax deferred basis (i.e. the contribution you make to these plans lower your taxable income by the amount of the contributions you make in a given year).
You can select the program of your choice below and follow the steps to establish your preferred voluntary retirement plan.
